The Cult of the Great Pumpkin, in association with Sinister Visions inc., is sponsoring its very first contest: Faces of The Great Pumpkin.

The concept is simple: Draw, paint, sculpt or otherwise create a portrait of The Great Pumpkin. That is, YOUR VISION of The Great Pumpkin. Since nobody's ever seen him (and lived to tell about it, anyway), his appearance is completely open to interpretation, and that's what we want to see! Let your imagination run wild, commit your ideas to paper, screen, sculpt or pumpkin pulp, and send it in!

If you're an artist with a dark streak, we want to see your work in the The World Horror Convention 2011 Art Show. Participating artists will have their work seen by hundreds of horror industry authors, publishers, editors and other macabre movers & shakers, as well as horror fans galore! The World Horror Convention has featured some of dark art's most visionary artists over the past 20 years - YOU should be among them!

Head on over to SinisterFonts.com and grab my newest font Unquiet Spirits, the more mature, reserved, stay-at-home cousin of Ghastly Panic. I was going to call it "Gruesome", but turns out there's a really old font with that name already. Oh, well.

Today I'm releasing a new font called October Crow.   I drew it on Devil's Night (October 30th) while watching The Crow, but   didn't have time to do the font conversion part until this holiday   weekend. Head over to SinisterFonts.com and grab it!

I've got two more fonts coming down the pipe, as well - Exquisite Corpse and Gruesome. I'll be releasing one per week.
